ABOUT

As a female visual artist in Iran, I have always tried to reflect on my concerns about what is happening in this patriarchal society. My main idea has been to show the status and problems of women's lives in Iranian society concerning moral and ritual values. In the first step, I depicted the self-portrait drawings in the context of social suffering concealed in the face. According to Jackson Pollock, painting is the discovery of the inner self; A good artist portrays her true self in her paintings.

Furthermore, I was under mental pressure for years, and I continued to create and break traditions without the slightest hope or reason in search of my lost identity. My papier mâché sculptures represent women's suffering in which I tried to show my inner self and express my words through art. Accordingly, I understood what values are worthwhile and exist in my life. Social damage made me more determined to express my feelings and nurture my artistic skills. Thus, using graphic software, I tried to uncover my sentiments toward the world around women in Iran by making posters with modern typography.

My continuous drawings allowed me to create the My Dreams series as someone who wants to express all the emotions she has experienced and what she is facing inside. Drawing and illustration have always made this connection tangible and close. For me, art expresses personal life in visual language, which is crystallized through visual works. My surrounding has affected my artwork's creation process, and the cultural conditions have made it impossible for me to enter this field. I have always needed a free and modern environment to express and display my thoughts and art. Unfortunately, living in conventional societies, according to restricted frameworks, changes the nature of art and has deprived me of representing my works.

On the other hand, my abilities in managing and coordinating teamwork and creating artistic and graphic works have always led me to establish a brand that unites traditional arts and combines them with modern art and women's lives in a world without restrictions. My research interests include applying ancient art and technique in creating contemporary graphic works, innovative ideas, and the role of women in life. I have always been interested in details, composition, and styles. Linking traditional and modern art to create innovative artworks and discovering new and perhaps unknown topics are among my favorite intellectual topic.
